
Puri
Puri, a city in the East Indian state of Orissa also known to many as Jagannath Puri after the world famous Jagannath Temple is one of the oldest cities in the eastern part of the country. It is situated on the coast of the Bay of Bengal and is a popular beach resort, positioned in a unique place so that both sunset and sunrise can be viewed from the beach. The place to start a pilgrimage is here and Puri is a pilgrim's destination too. There are many ashrams and sacred temples in Puri.
Gangtok
Gangtok the capital and largest town of the Indian state of Sikkim is located in the Shivalik Hills of the eastern Himalayan range, at an altitude of 1,437 metres (4,715 ft). Nestled within higher peaks of the Himalaya and enjoying a year-round mild temperate climate, Gangtok is at the centre of Sikkim’s tourism industry. Today, Gangtok is a centre of Tibetan Buddhist culture and learning, with the presence of several monasteries, religious educational institutions, and centres for Tibetology.
Manali
Manali in the Beas River valley, an important hill station in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh, India, near the northern end of the Kullu Valley with an altitude of 1,950 m or 6,398 ft. is a popular tourist destination and accounts for nearly a quarter of all tourist arrivals in Himachal Pradesh. The cool atmosphere provides a contrast to hot Indian summers. Manali is famous for adventure sports like skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, trekking, kayaking, and mountain biking. Yak skiing is a sport unique to this area. Manali also offers hot springs, religious shrines and Tibetan Buddhist temples.
Ooty
Ooty, short for Ootacamund, is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills and stands at an approximate height of 7,500 feet (2, 286 m) above sea level. Lofty blue mountains, great lakes, dense forests, sprawling grasslands, miles of tea gardens and eucalyptus trees greet the visitors to Ooty. The hill station itself is a land of picturesque picnic spots. The diverse landscape of Ooty offers an opportunity to explore a number of adventure sports and recreational activities.

Goa
Goa, located in South West India in the region known as the Konkan, is renowned for its beaches, places of worship and world heritage architecture. Goa is visited by large numbers of international and domestic tourists each year. It also has rich flora and fauna, owing to its location on the Western Ghats range, which is classified as a biodiversity hotspot. Goa has two main tourist seasons: winter and summer. With the rule of the Portuguese for over 450 years and the consequential influence of Portuguese culture, Goa presents a somewhat different picture to the visitor than other parts of the country. The state of Goa is famous for its excellent beaches, churches, and temples.
